Maria Tapia De Botello, 64, of Wauchula, Florida passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on November 6, 1958, in Guanajuanto, Mexico to Jose and Maria Tapia. Maria loved gardening, tending to her birds, and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by both of her parents. Maria is survived by her husband Sergio Guererro; sons Jose Botello (Janet), and Genaro Botello (Delores); daughters Guadalupe Botello (Abel), Sandra Botello, Lucy Botello (Epimanuel) Nancy Botello, Carmen Botello; brothers Martin Tapia (Mercedez), George Tapia, Cruz Tapia, Jose Maria Tapia, and Ignacio Tapia; sisters Martha Tapia, Juana Tapia, Eduwijes Tapia, and Reyna Tapia; twenty-five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on Friday, December 9, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Saturday, December 10, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Saint Michael's Catholic Church followed by interment at Wauchula City Cemetery. Father Juan Lorenzo officiating.
