Maria D. Garcia, 88, a resident of Hardee County for 48 years. coming from Texas in 1963, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, June 7, 2020 at her home. She was born in Mexico on December 25, 1931. She spent her time as a homemaker caring for her family. Maria was a member of St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wauchula, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Concepcion and Maria Sarabia, her son, Martin Garcia and her husband, Jose Maria Garcia.

Survivors include her sons, Rodolfo Garcia of GA; Daniel Garcia of Ruskin, Fl; Ricardo Garcia of Texas; Raul Garcia of Wauchula, Fl; Jose M Garcia Jr. of Wauchula, Fl; daughters, Juanita Garcia of Ruskin, Fl; Alexandra Retana of Bowling Green, Fl; Adela Chapa of Brandon, Fl; Irma Sanchez of Wauchula, Fl; brothers, Jose Sarabia of Mexico; Evaristo Olage of Texas; sister Carmen Sarabia Luna of Mexico. As well as 34 grandchildren, 48 great-grandchildren and 3 great great-grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 11, 2020 from 10:00 am to 11:30 am at RObarts Garden Chapel in Wauchula, Fl.
A Funeral will follow at 12:00 pm at St. Michaels Catholic Church in Wauchula, Fl
Interment will take place at Wauchula Cemetery. Father Oscar Mendoza will be officiating services.
