Maria De La Luz Belmares, 78, a resident of Hardee County for 32 years coming from Texas, passed away at Advent Health Sebring on Thursday, October 1, 2020. She was born on May 1, 1942 in Mexico. Maria was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wauchula, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Josefina, husband, Arturo Belmares and daughter, San Juana Narvaez.

Survivors include her sons. Ascencion Belmares (Maria Belmares) of Bowling Green, Fl; Manuel Belmares (Anita) of Mexico; Arturo Belmares (Eva) of Bowling Green, Fl; Guadalupe Belmares (Sylvia) of Wauchula, Fl; Jorge Belmarez (Lori) of Bowling Green, Fl; daughters, Maria Angelica Rodriguez (Paulino) of Bowling Green, Fl; Maria Del Carmen Estrada (Teodulo) of Georgia; Sandra Abrego (Antonio) of Texas; Rosalba Sanchez (Joe) of Bowling Green, Fl; son in law, Jose Luiz Narvaez of Lakeland, Fl; As well as 36 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Monday, October 5, 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Services will take place on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at 10:00 am in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Intermit will Take place in the Wauchula Cemetery.
