Marie Duncombe, 71, of Wauchula, passed away in Sarasota on Saturday, May 13, 2017. She was born on January 9, 1946 in Haiti and had been a resident of Hardee County for 25 years. She was Catholic, and had worked as a laborer in the citrus and vegetable industries.

She is survived by her companion, Paul Saintfar of Wauchula; a daughter, Claudamise Jean Baptiste of Haiti; and other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held at Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday, May 26, 2017 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral services are on Saturday, May 27th at 2:00 PM at St. Michael Catholic Church, followed by interment in Wauchula Cemetery.
