Marjorie Delores Carrier McKinney, 71, of Bowling Green, passed away on September 28, 2017 at Hardee Manor in Wauchula. Marjorie was born in Wise County Virginia, December 28, 1945 to Fred and Alverna Carrier. She moved to Bowling Green in 1961 and has been a resident of Hardee County since coming from Virginia. She attended Barkers Chapel in Virginia. Marjorie graduated John S Battle High School. and worked for the USDA Farm Services of Bartow and Wauchula. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a Past Grand Instructor.
She is preceded in death by her Father Fred Carrier and brother James Carrier.
She leaves behind her loving husband of 53 years Jimmie Ray McKinney, Her mother Alverna Carrier. Sons Bradley McKinney of Bowling Green, Daughters Melissa Granger and husband Darryl of Wauchula, Fl. Brother Guy Carrier and wife Judy of Bristol, Virginia. Sisters Zella Mae Gardener of Hilton Virginia and Shelia Harper of Bowling Green, FL. five grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held in the Robarts Garden Chapel October 3,2017 at 10:00 AM with Funeral Services following at 11:00 AM.
