Mary Helen Durrance Trammell, 57, of Bowling Green, passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. Mary Helen was born in Lakeland on May 2, 1956, and had been a lifelong resident of Bowling Green. She was a homemaker and years ago had worked as a substitute teacher for the Hardee County School Board and at the Heartland Federal Bank. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bowling Green. She was preceded in death by her father, Doyle Durrance.

Mary Helen is survived by her husband, Howard Trammell of Bowling Green; mother, Louise Durrance of Bowling Green; daughter, Amy Forbes Palacios of Georgia; brother, Danny Durrance and wife Julie of Bowling Green; grandchildren, Zachary, Austin, and Malachi Palacios; nephew, Ian Durrance and wife Jessica and their son Luke; and niece, Clara Durrance.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at the First United Methodist Church of Bowling Green from 10-11 a.m; services are at 11 a.m. with Rev. Amy Harper officiating. Interment is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
