Mary Edna Ellis of Brandon, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family in her home on October 22, 2015 at the age of 90. She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Oscar Ellis, her parents Jason Joseph and Corinne Stafford and brothers Jason Joseph Stafford Jr and Morgan Stafford. Mary Edna is survived by daughters Corinne Ellis and Cindy Ellis-McCorvey (Doug); four grandchildren, Michellene Linenberger (Greg), Jeff Flowers (Melissa), Beth Cruz (Juan) and Jon Flowers (Kim); and seven great-grandchildren, Noah, Lauren, Nicholas, Colby, Ethan, Taryn, Brady and soon to arrive Jon Ross Jr.

Mary Edna was a long time resident of the Brandon area. She enjoyed playing golf at Buckhorn Springs Golf and Country Club where she and her husband Oscar, were original Charter members. Mary Edna was also a member of a bridge club and enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. We will greatly miss her beautiful smile and loving and caring heart.
