Mary Catherine King, 76, of Avon Park, passed away in Sebring on November 20, 2011. Mrs. King was born in Nichols, South Carolina on April 28, 1935. She moved to Wauchula in 1968 from Chadburn, North Carolina. She was a homemaker and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth.
Survivors include her husband, Charles King of Avon Park; two sons, Charles King, Jr. (Mary) of Zolfo Springs and Ricky King (Lisa) of Zolfo Springs; three daughters, Kathy Sanders (Richard) of Zolfo Springs, Ruby Barns (Dale) of Sebring, and Edna Rangel of Bowling Green; 12 grand-children, 22 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 22nd at Robarts Family Funeral Home from 9-10 A.M. Graveside services will be at New Hope Cemetery at 10:30 A.M. Rev. Justin Warden is officiating.
