Mary Jo Jacox Rudd, 37, of Lakeland, passed away at her home on Thursday, December 1, 2011. Mary Jo was born in Hialeah, Florida on December 16, 1973. She lived in Wauchula for a short time, moving to Polk County from Arcadia 19 years ago.
She was employed as a 911 Dispatcher and was a member of Highlands Baptist Church.
She is survived by her parents, Frank and Bonnie Jacox of Arcadia; son, Christian Rudd of Lakeland; daughter, Rebecca Rudd of Lakeland; brothers, Jonathon Vilardo, Jr. of North Carolina and Billy Vilardo of Missouri; sister, Laura Bowers of Lakeland; several nieces and nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, December 4th from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral services are at 7:00 p.m. Monday at Robarts Garden Chapel with Rev. John Richardson officiating.
