Melila Virgile, 80, of Wauchula, passed away at her home on Thursday, May 18, 2017. She was born on June 11, 1936 in Haiti and came to Hardee County nine years ago. She was Catholic and a homemaker.

She is survived by her only son,Andre Virgile; daughter-in-law, Charite Virgile; six grandchildren, Saintony, Edrique, Ulrick, Erick, Jonell, and Olnell Virgile; granddaughter-in-law, Roseline Virgile; and seven great-grandchildren, Ulrick Jr., Enalia R., Shanah, Saintony Jr., Shanitha, and Ulijah Virgile, and Mikayla; and one niece, Eliana Virgile.

Funeral services will be held at St. Michael Catholic Church on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00 AM, followed by interment in Wauchula Cemetery. Visitation is Friday, June 2nd at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
