Michael (Blain) Johnson, church elder, giver of self, family, and community inspiration, passed to his rest on July 18th, 2024.
Blain was a willful, dynamic, faithful servant of the Lord, born on February 9, 1963. He had the vision and ability to make things happen; often for the benefit of the church, others within the community, and for his beloved family. Doing it all for the glory of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
He was raised in Wauchula, where he attended and graduated from Hardee Senior High School, class of 1981. He was a devoted servant of the Wauchula Seventh Day Adventist Church, where he was an elder who was ready to conquer all church duties for education, repair, or rebuild. Blain took pride in being a residential home builder where he was able to give back to the community in which he loved so much.
Blain is preceded in death by his father: Don B Johnson, grandparents: H.F Johnson, Neva Bell Johnson, John M Alderman, and Ethel C Alderman.
He is survived by his devoted wife Celia G Johnson of 41 years, their 3 children Nola Galvan, Audra (Jamal) Jones, and James Galvan. His mother Diane Alderman Miller, sister: Donna (Bruce) Klein, brother: Mark A Johnson, grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews, and many loved ones who he inspired.
Blain was an amazing man of influence who would seek God above all else and expressed his dedication through obedience, humility, and service. Our community has lost an amazing example of sonship, leadership, and a devout man. His master carpentry skills, knowledge, and artwork will be deeply missed by many. May his tenacity and stewardship to spread the gospel leave a legacy within us all. Blain's signature message is that we live by these written words he so cherished.

Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water."….
