Michael Gene Hendry, 48 of Zolfo Springs, died May 9, 2010 at home. Born in Wauchula on May 14, 1961, Michael had been a Hardee County resident since 2002 after living in California. He was a member of Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church, and was a registered nurse in Florida and California. He was preceded in death by his father, Olin V. Hendry and brother-in-law, Paul H. Gough. He is survived by his mother, Jacqueline Hendry of Zolfo Springs; brothers, James V. Hendry (Sandra) of Ona, Ken Hendry (Rose Mary) and Doug Hendry, all of Tampa; sister, Lisa H. Gough of Ona; nephews, Delos O. Gough of Okeechobee and Delmas H. Gough of Ona; special friends, Martha, David, and Taylor Wentlandt of Avon Park; and several uncles and aunts. Memorial services were held on Friday, May 14, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at Crewsville Bethel Baptist Church.
