Miguel Cardoza, 35, of Wauchula, passed away on October 14, 2012. He was born in Mexico on October 11, 1977, and had been a resident of Hardee County for six years, coming from Caborca, Mexico. He was Catholic by faith, and was employed as a tractor driver in the citrus groves.
Survivors include his companion, Lizeth Rodriguez of Wauchula; father, Savino Cardoza of Mexico; mother Valentina Cordoba of Wauchula; step-father, Emiliano Garcia of Wauchula; son, Miguel Cardoza, Jr. of Wauchula; daughters, Maria Cardoza and Diana Cardoza, of Wauchula; brothers, Gilberto Cardoza of Wauchula, Grecencio, Sebastian, and Emiliano Garcia, all of Wauchula, Tomas Cardoza of Wauchula, Juan Alberto Cardoza of Las Vegas, Madaleno Cardoza of Mexico; and sister, Eva Cardoza of North Carolina.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6-9 P.M. Funeral Mass is Thursday at 11 A.M. at St. Michael Catholic Church.
