Modesto Martinez Gonzalez, passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 45. Born on May 17, 1980, in Guanajuato, Mexico, Modesto was the beloved son of Alejandro Martinez and Rosalía Gonzalez. He was a dedicated laborer in the construction industry and had been a resident of Hardee County, Florida, for the past 20 years, having moved from North Carolina.
Modesto was a man of strong Christian faith and a cherished member of Bayside Community Church, where he found community and support. He is survived by his loving wife, Terri Martinez, of Wauchula, Florida, his sons Marc Anthony Martinez, and Alejandro Jayce Martinez, both of Wauchula, his daughter, Liliana Martinez, of Wauchula.

In addition to his immediate family, Modesto is survived by his siblings: Fausto Martinez, Onesimo Martinez, Doroteo Martinez, Celia Martinez, Catalina Martinez, and Florina Martinez, all residing in Mexico. His family and friends will remember him for his kindness, hard work, and unwavering faith.

A visitation will be held in Modesto's honor at Bayside Community Church on Friday, June 13, at 10 AM, followed by funeral services at 11 AM, officiated by Pastor Erick Quintana. Interment will take place at Friendship Cemetery.

Modesto will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
