Nettie L. Criswell, 68, of Wauchula, passed away at her home on January 11, 2013. She was born in Moultrie, Georgia on October 5, 1944, and had been a Hardee County resident most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of Spirit Wind Tabernacle.
Her son, Billy Woods, preceded her in death. Survivors include husband, Deloney Criswell of Wauchula; son, Jamie Woods of Arlington, Texas; daughters, Joyce Chastain and husband Glenn of Ft. Pierce, Mary Windham of Wauchula, Regina Kidd of Charleston, West Virginia, and Melinda Turner Lott of Tifton, Georgia; stepchildren, John, Douglas, and Sheila Criswell, all of Panama City; brothers, Worley Ledford of Ft. Pierce and Ray Ledford of Ray City, Georgia; sister, Bertha Myers of Bartow; ten grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial were held at 4:00 P.M. Sunday, January 13th at Friendship Cemetery. Rev. Glenn Chastain and Rev. James Fox officiated.
