Novella Gibson Edwards, 82, of Wauchula, passed away At Lakeland Regional Medical Center on July 5, 2012. She was born on January 26, 1930 in Habersham, Tennessee. Novella had been a resident of Hardee County for most of her life. She was a member and long time Sunday School teacher at First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, and a member of the Order of Eastern Star. Novella was a devoted mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John B. Edwards. Survivors include one daughter, Barbara Kingry of Lake Wales; one brother, James P. Gibson of Bowling Green; and one grandson, Ryan E. Kingry.
Funeral services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Bowling Green on Sunday, July 8, 2012 at 3:00 P.M., with visitation from 2:00-3:00 P.M. Rev. Roland Davis will officiate. Burial is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
