Patricia Sue Franks, 49, lifelong resident of Bowling Green, passed away at Manatee Memorial Hospital on Sunday, January 8, 2012. Patricia was born in Hardee County on September 4, 1962. She graduated from Hardee High School in 1980, was a homemaker and a member of Peace Valley Lutheran Church in Wauchula.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Russell and Imogene Loveland, and a son, Jeffery Franks. Survivors include her husband, James Franks of Bowling Green; one son, James Franks, Jr. (Amy) of Wauchula; one daughter, Jessica Leggett (Robbie) of Pace, Fla.; one sister, Carol Kerst of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Nicole, Amber, and Brandon Franks, and Norah Leggett; niece, Cyndi Winningham (Andy); nephew, John Kerst; and great-niece, Emma Winningham.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 11, 2012 from 6-8 p.m. at Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Services are at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Peace Valley Lutheran Church, with Rev. Bruce Sommerfield officiating. Burial is in Bowling Green Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family to help with final arrangements.
