Patricia Hayes was a lifelong resident of Hardee County since 1945. She was employed as a secretary for Dewey Waters and retired after 20 years in 1989. Patricia was an active member of Bowling Green Church of God. She is preceded in death by her parents Louis Wilson Swails and Dorothy Dean Swails Sims. Patricia will be laid to rest by her late husband Preston Hayes. Surviving relatives include her two daughters Tracy Kopp and husband Dennis from Lakeland, Fl., and Heather Deuberry and husband Robert from Lakewood Ranch, Fl.; five grandchildren Dennis(DJ), Patrick and Kaitlynn Kopp, and Makayla and Zackary Deuberry; sisters Elizabeth (Libby) and husband Hugh Bradley from Wauchula, Fl., Theresa (Terri) Merglewski and husband Rick from Panama City Beach, Fl.
