Patricia Sue Roberts, 71, of Wauchula, passed away at her home on Saturday, October 22, 2016. She was born in Wauchula on April 14, 1945 and had been a lifelong resident of Hardee County. Patricia was a Christian, and attended Real Life Church. She served in the U.S. Army and the Florida National Guard, and was a life-member of the Disabled American Veterans. She had been employed by the State of Florida as an employment counselor for disabled veterans.
She is survived by a brother, William Melvin Vernon, Jr. (Lori) of Orlando; sister, Sandra Miller of Wauchula; nieces, Lauren Ashlie Vernon, Deanna, Makayla, and Kaitlyn Ellis, and Jessica Banda; nephew, Travis Revell; great-nieces Hayden Hinman, McKenzie and Jalisa Banda; great-nephew Dylan Joiner; aunts, Mary Vernon of Vero Beach, Jackie Richardson of Winter Haven, and Velma Albritton of Gibsonton; and her lifelong friend, Mary Lou Zimmerman.
