Paul Peter Sprague Jr, 68, a resident of Hardee County for 50 years coming from Michigan, passed away at his home on Wednesday, May 27, 2020. He was born on August 28, 1951 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a proud member of the Huron Potawatomi Native American tribe in Michigan. Paul retired from Johns on Wheels where he was a truck driver.
He was a special guy and well loved by those around him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul P. Sprague, Sr. and mother, Pauline Medawis Sprague and grandmother Elizabeth Sprague.

Survivors include his adoptive parents and caregivers, Jacki and Jerry Johnson of Bowling Green, Fl; Amy and Scott Bryan, Michelle and Shawn Durrance and Weston and Kimberlyn Johnson; Adoptive, nieces and nephews, Kaden and Linsey Bryan, Laina, Seth and Kara Durrance, Bentlee and Peyton Johnson.

sister, Mary Sprague Townsend of Michigan; half-sisters, Ronda Hansen Wesaw of Grand Rapids, Michigan; Julia Stanheiser and Loretta Wesaw of Southwestern Michigan; cousin, Rachel Mackety of Michigan; As well as many cousins.

A visitation will be held on Friday, May 29, 2020 in the Robarts Garden Chapel from 6 pm to 8 pm. Interment will be at Bradley Cemetery in Wayland, Michigan.
