Phyllis Lee Dobbs, 65, of Wauchula, passed away at her home on Tuesday, March 2, 2021. Phyllis was born in Chicago, Illinois on May 3, 1955 and moved to Hardee County from Rockford, Illinois eight years ago. She had worked at Fred Olson Funeral Home in Rockford, Illinois for many years.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph "Jack" Dobbs in February 2021; and a daughter, Jackie Salazar. Survivors include one son, Ralph "Jay" Dobbs (Margie) of Lovespark, Illinois; two brothers, Edward Lyman (Margaret) of Madisonville, Louisiana and Omar Lyman; one sister, Janice Sanders of Lovespark, Illinois; two grandchildren, Jadie Dobbs and Connor Salazar; three nephews, Jeffrey Sanders, Alonzo and Lorenzo Lyman; and a niece, Julie Sanders.

A memorial service will be held on April 24, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Fred C. Olson Funeral Chapel in Rockford, Illinois.
