Phyllis Ybarra, 74, of Zolfo Springs, Florida passed away on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on April 9, 1947, in Missouri to Ervin and Clara (Crane) McGowen. Phyllis had been a resident of Hardee County for 56 years, she worked for Rest Haven for around 36 years. She was a nice, hardworking, and loving person. Phyllis is preceded in death by both of her parents, and brothers Jerry, Donnie, Larry, Bud, and Charlie McGowen. She is survived by her husband of 56 years Jose Ybarra; sons Rocky Ybarra, and Sam Ybarra; daughters Sarah Ybarra, and April Ybarra (Charlie); sister Brenda Hutchins (Bobby); 8 grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held at Wauchula City Cemetery on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at 11:00 A.M. Pastor Stephen Darley will be officiating.
