Rebecca Parrish, age 89, of Wauchula, passed away in Sebring, Fl. on Wednesday, May 24, 2017. She was born on February 29, 1928 in Clayton, North Carolina and had been a resident of Hardee County for 21 years. She was a Member of New Hope Baptist Church. Rebecca spent her days as a homemaker caring for her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Braska Barbour and Euginia Powell loving husband Ruffin Ellis Parrish and son Donald Parrish.

She is survived by Sons Wayne Parrish wife Cindy of Wauchula, Fl., Douglas Parrish wife Sue of Venice, Fl., Daughter in law Laurie Hancock of St. Cloud, Fl. Grandchildren Jess & Adrian Colder, Patrick & Lindsay Burnett, Kyle& Olivia Parrish, Clint & Kali Parrish, Wally & Selina Leavy, Jake & Nicole Parrish
Great Grandchildren Abby, Chloe & Kylie Burnett, Kinsey & Gracie Calder, Matthew & David Parrish, Paisley Parrish and Brody Leavy.

Visitation will be held in the Robarts Garden Chapel on Friday May 26, 2017 10:00 AM Funeral will follow at 11:00 AM Reverend Chris Bishop will be officiating.
