Richard D. Hancock, 53, of Wauchula, passed away at his home on December 18, 2012. Richard was born on December 18, 1959 in Arcadia, and had lived in Wauchula for most of his life. He was a Baptist.
He was preceded in death by his father, Junior Felton Hancock.
Survivors include his mother, Jewell Hancock of Wauchula; lifelong partner, Lucille Hickman of Wauchula; one son, Richard Charles Hancock of Lakeland; one daughter, Rachel Nichole Hancock of Lakeland; two brothers, Donald Hancock and wife Brenda of Fayetteville, Arkansas, and David Hancock and wife Tessie of Cleveland, Tennessee; one sister, Betty Sue Brown and husband Mike of Hermitage,Tennessee; three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, 2012 from 1:00-2:00 P.M., followed by funeral services at 2:00 P.M. Interment is in Wauchula Cemetery.
