Rita Rodriguez, 59, a resident of Hardee County for most of her life, passed away at Advent Health Sebring on Saturday, September 19, 2020. She was born on December 7, 1960 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Rita was the office manager of South Florida State College. She was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wauchula, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago and Luisa Villarreal, sister, Lourdes Dimas.

Survivors include her husband, Francisco Rodriguez of Wauchula, Fl; son, Francisco Rodriguez Jr of Wauchula, Fl; daughters, Angela Hernandez (Alberto) of Wauchula, Fl; Rita Acevedo of Wauchula, Fl; Alejandra Trevino (Eric) of Wauchula, Fl; brother, Felipe Villarreal (Debbie) of Colorado; Refugio Villarreal (Beatrice) of Auburndale, Fl; brother in law, Herman Dimas of Arizona; sisters, Elena Castillo (Alex) of Wauchula, Fl; Elisa Rivera of Bowling Green, Fl; Mary Villarreal of Fort Meade, Fl; Luisa Villegas (Alfredo) of Zolfo Springs, Fl; Yolanda Villarreal of Winter Heaven, Fl; Emma George (Robert) of Auburndale, Fl; As well as 6 grandchildren.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Funeral Services will take place on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wauchula, Fl.

Intermit will Take place in the Wauchula Cemetery.
