Robert G. Florez, 46, of Wauchula, passed away on June 16, 2012 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born on October 11, 1965 in Wasian, Ohio and had been a Hardee County resident most of his life. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and had been employed as a farm laborer.
Survivors include his parents, Jose and Maria Florez of Wauchula; two daughters, Tracy Florez and April Florez, both of North Carolina; one brother, Jose Florez, Jr. of Wauchula; and six sisters, Rosa Badillo of Bowling Green, Virginia Florez of Fort Meade, Juanita Florez of Wauchula, Maria Louisa Martinez of Wauchula, Margarita Florez of South Carolina, and Angelica Florez of Wauchula.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 18, 2012 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6-8 P.M. Funeral Mass is Tuesday at St. Michael Catholic Church at 10:00 A.M. with Fr. Juan Carlos Sack officiating. Burial is in Wauchula Cemetery.
