Robert Douglas Garner Sr., 50, a lifelong resident of Hardee County passed away Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Highlands Regional Medical Center. He was born in Avon Park, Florida on August 14, 1969. Robert was Baptist by faith and worked as an equipment operator by profession.

Survivors include his loving wife, Pamela Garner of Wauchula, Fl.; parents, Lemon "Cecil" and Mother Barbara Garner of Bowling Green, Fl.; Father Robert Wayne Morris; sons, Robert Douglas Garner II of Zolfo Springs, Fl.; Cody Wayne Garner of Wauchula, Fl.; Charles Brandon Garner of Wauchula, Fl.; daughter, Tiffany Garner of Arcadia. Fl.; Brothers Rondal Lamar Morris (Donna) of Haines City, Fl.; Russell Garner (Trinity) of Wauchula, Fl.; Kevin Morris of Bentonville, Arkansas; sisters, Susan Gilmore (Frankie) of Dothan, Alabama; Amanda Farris (Josh) of Fulton, Missouri; grandchildren, Stephanie Benning, Jordan Benning, Kaden Hay, Dalton Garner, James Garner, Weston Garner. As well as many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and family that loves him.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in the Robarts Garden Chapel. A funeral service will follow at 11:00 am in the Robarts Garden Chapel. Pastor Willie Gilliard will be officiating. Interment will take place at Paynes Creek Cemetery.
