Rogelio Mendoza, 72, of Bowling Green, Florida passed away Monday, August 29, 2022. He was born on March 8, 1950, in Donna, Texas to Bacilio and Refugia Mendoza. Rogelio was a retired truck driver and he proudly served the United States of America in the National Guard. He had been a resident of Hardee County for the past 60 years. He is preceded in death by both of his parents, brothers Nicholas Mendoza, Clemente Mendoza, Eugene Mendoza, Guadalupe Mendoza, Bacilio Mendoza Jr., and Frank Mendoza, sisters Liberdad Pena, Beatriz Sanchez, and Lucky Butts. He is survived by his loving wife Dora Mendoza, sons Rogelio Mendoza Jr. of Bowing Green, FL., and Frank Mendoza (Alejandra) of Wauchula, FL., daughter Stacy Mendoza (Thomas) of Wauchula, FL., sister Juana Mendoza of Wauchula, FL., along with seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, September 1, 2022, at 6:00 pm in Robarts Garden Chapel.
