Rosa Santoyo, 68 of Zolfo Springs, Florida passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022, in Sebring, Florida. She was born on January 6, 1954, in San Angelo, Texas to Antonio and Isabel Salazar and has been a resident of Hardee County since 1974. Rosa was Roman Catholic by Faith and worked in the Customer Service Field. She is preceded in death by her son Fernando Santoyo. Rosa is survived by both of her parents; sons Miguel Santoyo of Bartow, FL., Rogelio Santoyo of Orange Grove, TX., Mario Santoyo of Wauchula, FL., Adrian Santoyo of Wauchula, FL., and Jaime Herrera of San Angelo, TX.; daughters Rosa Aleman of Orange Grove, TX., Irene Prine of Wauchula, FL., and Elsie Taffal of Austin, TX.; brothers Robert Salazar of San Angelo, TX., Roy Salazar of Euless, TX., Abel Salazar of San Angelo, TX., Albert Salazar of Seminole, TX., Andrew Salazar of Carlsbad, TX., Alex Salazar of Matador, TX., and Ruben Salazar of San Angelo, TX.; sister Linda Ruiz of San Angelo, TX.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. A Mass will be held at St. Michael's Church on Friday, December 16, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. followed by a Celebration of Life at the Wauchula Train Depot at 1:00 P.M.
