Obituary

Roy Lee Browning, 67, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026. Born on August 24, 1959, Lee was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend whose life was filled with family, friendship, and the things he loved most.

Lee was happiest when he was doing something he loved, especially if it meant being outdoors or surrounded by the people who mattered to him. He loved fishing, playing softball, and had a true passion for mounted shooting competitions. Whether he was spending a day on the water, competing on his horses, or stepping onto the softball field, Lee enjoyed the simple things in life and the memories made along the way.

Lee was preceded in death by his parents, Randall and Lois Browning.

He is survived by his children, Matthew (Noemi) Holstein of Homestead, Florida; Christopher (Kandice) Browning of Georgia; Taylor (Quinn) Browning Jones of Arcadia, Florida; and Logan Browning of Arcadia, Florida.

He is also survived by his seven grandchildren, who brought tremendous joy to his life and gave him one of the titles he cherished most—Grandpa.

Lee is further survived by his siblings, Mack (Deloris) Browning of West Virginia and Bernice Brunty of West Virginia, along with extended family and many friends whose lives he touched throughout the years.

Those who knew him will remember him in countless ways, in stories told around the family, days spent fishing, afternoons at the ballfield, time at shooting competitions, and all of the ordinary moments that now mean so much more.

His life will continue through the family he loved so dearly and through the stories and memories that will be passed down for generations to come.

Rest peacefully, Lee. You were deeply loved, and you will NEVER be forgotten.
