Roy Vincent Roberts, 93, passed away on Monday September 23, 2019 at Somers Hospice House in Sebring, Fl. Roy, a lifelong native was born on October 4, 1925 in Wauchula, FL. Roy worked as a rural carrier for the post office from which he retired. He was also a lifelong farmer. He was a Christian and a member of the First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs.
He is preceded in death by his first wife of 58 years Grace Eleanor Jones Roberts parents Sidney Roberts and Edith Pope Roberts.

He is survived by his loving wife, Iva Roberts; sons Robert Roberts (Brenda) of Ona, Fl.; Michael (Ellen) of Lakeland, Fl.; daughter Joan Schontag (Stanley) of Lake Wales, Fl.; sister Vivian Keehan (Jim) of Temple Terrace, Fl.; and 8 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Baptist Church of Zolfo Springs with funeral services following at 11:00 a.m.
Pastors Robert and Michael Roberts and Adam Roberts will be officiating services.
Interment will be held at the New Zion Cemetery.
