Sandra Carlton Talley, 69, of Zolfo Springs, passed away on Friday, August 19, 2011. She was born in Cut Bank, Montana on March 29, 1942 to James L. and Alberta Jessop Calder. Sandra came to Hardee County from Montana in 1952.
A Christian, she was a member of Cowboy Up Ministry and was employed as office manager for JLC Farms, Inc.
Survivors include her husband, Terry Talley; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jason and Kim Carlton, Jake and Missy Carlton, and Matt and Kristi Carlton; one sister and brother-in-law, Judy and Roger Nickerson; one brother and sister-in-law, James L. "Skipper" and Cathy Calder; and grandchildren, Taylor Lynn Carlton, Joshua L. Carlton, Tiffany Wise, Katelyn Bailey, Hannah Grace Carlton, Sarah Ann Carlton, Tanner Matt Carlton, and Claire Marie Carlton.
A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, August 20th from 6:00 p.m. till "??" at the home of Jake Carlton, 3126 Whistler Woods Way, Zolfo Springs. Funeral services will be held on Sunday at 3:00 p.m. at First Christian Church, with burial in Wauchula Cemetery. Marcus Shackelford and Rev. Skipper Calder will officiate.
