Steve M. Terrell, age 89, passed away on January 9, 2011. He was born March 11, 1921 in Bowling Green, FL to Wes and Rosie Terrell. Steve was raised in Wauchula, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Melba McKinney Terrell, brothers Corbit, John, Clayton, Grover, Gene and sisters Lena, Ressie, and Ada.
Steve is survived by 2 sons Gary (Linda), Ted (Sharon), 2 grandsons Todd (Donna) Wes, 3 great-grandchildren Noah, Daisy, Gabe, and many loving nephews and nieces.
Steve is also survived by 2 sisters-in-law, Katie and Myra Terrell.
Steve moved his family to Tampa in 1949 when he began a civil service career at MacDill AFB. He was a deacon, Sunday School teacher, trustee, and member of East Chelsea Baptist Church who faithfully and lovingly served Jesus his entire life. The family gratefully acknowledges the many years of medical services from the Veteran's Administration and the loving care of the nursing team and staff at Baldomero Lopez Veterans Home.

Funeral Services will be at East Chelsea Baptist Church on January 13, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. The family will receive friends at 6:00 p.m. A reception will follow the service in the church fellowship center.
