Teddy Ray Adams Sr., 67, of Bowling Green, Florida, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2025, in Lakeland, Florida. Born on October 1, 1957, in Orlando, Florida, he was the beloved son of the late Alvin and Syble (Rucker) Adams.

A lifelong resident of Hardee County, Teddy dedicated much of his life to working as a mine operator in the phosphate industry. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Bowling Green, where he found strength and community through his Baptist faith.

Teddy is preceded in death by his parents and is lovingly remembered by his wife, Sylvia Adams of Bowling Green; his sons, Teddy Adams Jr. (Kathryn) of Leesburg and Joseph Adams of Bowling Green; his daughter, Daphne Herrera (Manuel) of Wauchula; and his brothers, Donald Joe Adams (Cindy) of Wauchula, Rickey Adams of Bartow, and Kenny Adams(Patsy) of Wauchula. He also leaves behind 14 cherished grandchildren who brought great joy to his life.

Family, friends, and all who knew Teddy are invited to a visitation at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 16, 2025, at First Baptist Church of Bowling Green. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Scott Tharp officiating.

Teddy Ray Adams Sr. will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his hard work, faith, and devotion to his family.
