Terecita Tovar, 61, of Bowling Green, passed away on Monday, December 10, 2018 at Florida Hospital in Sebring. She was born in Weslaco, Texas on February 28, 1957. She moved from Texas to Hardee County in 1965. She was a Christian.

Survivors include her husband, David Tovar of Bowling Green; one son, Christopher D. Prieto of Bowling Green; three daughters, Christina Rodriguez and husband Andres of Bailey, North Carolina, Sara Rivera of Wauchula, and Veronica Prieto of Fort Meade; three brothers, Rodrigo Prieto of Avon Park, Ramon Prieto of Fort Meade, and Julian Prieto of. Fort Myers; six sisters, Mary Levrier of Texas, San Junita Prieto of Fort Meade, Yolanda Rodriguez of Tampa, Frances Benavidez of Bartow, Olivia. P. Blas of Bowling Green, and Coco Rios of Wauchula; five grandchildren, Andres Rodriguez, Jr. and wife Meredith, Crystal Rodriguez, Ulisa Rivera, Justin Rivera, and Arivella Rosales; and two great-grandchildren, Alexandria and Benjamin Rodriguez..

Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM, with funeral services at 3:00 PM. Pastor Chano Llanes will officiate. Interment is at Wauchula Cemetery.
