Thomas Howard Watkins, 67, of Wauchula, passed away at Lakeland Regional Medical Center on December 20, 2012. He was born in Jefferson City, Missouri on February 25, 1945 and had been a resident of Hardee County most of his life. He was employed by the State of Florida as a surveyor, and was a member of the Apostolic Lighthouse in Bowling Green.
Survivors include two sons, Tommy Watkins and wife Nikki of Maryland, and Allen Eures and wife Avie of Fort Green; four daughters, Emmy Jackson and husband Paul of Haines City, Devon Stubbs of Milton, Teresa Reehm and husband Ray of Wisconsin, and Rebecca Estes and husband Gator of Arcadia; and four sisters, Linda Gayle Reeves of Bowling Green, Joyce Albritton of Bowling Green, Carolyn Dixon of Winter Haven, and Betty Jo Judah of Bowling Green.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, 2012 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 2:00-3:00 p.m., with funeral services at 3:00 p.m. Rev. Bob Bates will officiate.
