Valerie Elizabeth Morris Eyster passed away at the age of 78 on Aug. 23, 2022, at her home in Lake Placid, Fla.Valerie attended Hardee High School, and, while living in Hardee County, she served as a 4-H counselor. Later she moved to West Virginia and was active in West Virginia politics. She also owned an antique business in West Virginia. Valerie was preceded in death by her husband, Noel Eyster; her mother, Doris Cartwright; and father, Valjean Morris; and one brother, Bud Morris. She was survived by her significant other, Bill Yarley, of Lake Placid; her sister, Carlyn Morris; her daughters, Laura McComas and Buffy Kitts; her loving grandchildren, John Tyler Stanley, Samantha Lewis, Cody Kitts, Hailey McComas, and great-grandchildren, Alyssa Dawson, Ryan Dawson, Tyler Lewis, Layla Stanley, Noel Stanley, and Scarlett Stanley.
