Virginia Rivera Gutierrez, 33, a lifelong resident of Hardee, passed away on Friday, November 20, 2020 at her home. She was born on September 3, 1987 in Mount Airy, North Carolina. Virginia attended St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wauchula, Florida.

Survivors include her father, Margarito Gutierrez of Wauchula, Fl; mother, Lydia Rivera of Bowling Green, Fl; brothers, Guadalupe Almaguer Jr. (Marta) of Wauchula, Fl; Gilbert Lee Almaguer of Bowling Green, Fl; sisters, Bertha Almaguer (Alejandro) of Wauchula, Fl; Mary Alamia (Santiago) of Bowling Green, Fl; Veronica Gutierrez Carter (Jack) of Charlotte, North Carolina; Rosa Gutierrez Martin (Eric) of Bowling Green, Fl; Margarita Gutierrez (Adrian) of Wauchula, Fl; as well as several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.


A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Robarts Garden Chapel from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 at 11:00 am at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Wauchula, Fl; with Father Oscar Mendoza officiating. Interment will take place in Bowling Green Cemetery.
