W. C. Moran, 89, of Wauchula, died Feb. 16, 2011 in Sebring. He was born Feb. 6, 1922 in Palmetto, Fla. and had been a Wauchula resident since 1946. He was a member of Northside Baptist Church. W. C. had been employed for the Railroad as a telegraph operator for 41 years.
He was predeceased by his wife, Willean and a daughter, Barbara Wilkins.
Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Jed Byrd of DeFuniak Springs; son-in-law, M. E. Wilkins of Wauchula; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Graveside services and burial will be held on Saturday, Feb. 19th at 11:00 a.m. at Wauchula Cemetery. Mr. Ray Graham will officiate.
