Wanda Murphy, 82, of Wauchula, passed away on Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at her home. She was born in Avon Park on November 26, 1934 and had been a resident of Hardee County for 54 years, coming from Avon Park. Wanda had attended Wauchula Hills Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Euley "Mickey" Murphy and a son, Michael Murphy.

Survivors include two daughters, Kim Congleton and Pam Murphy, both of Wauchula; daughter-in-law, Courtney Murphy of Wauchula; one son, Robert Murphy of Bowling Green; and seven grandchildren, Taylor, Tyler, and Tanner Congleton, Dominique Cash, Colton, Jonathan, and Kimberly Murphy.

Visitation, Graveside services and interment will be held at Bougainvillea Cemetery in Avon Park at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 3. 2017. Randy Johnson will officiate.
