William Gordon Bell, "Bill" or "BFB" age 61, died Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Sebring, FL surrounded by his loving family.
Bill was born in Reed City, Michigan on August 5, 1961, the son of Herbert and Edna (Thompson) Bell. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father, poppa, and friend to many. Bill grew up in Montrose and served in the United States Army as an 82nd Airborne member. After the service he returned to Montrose and married the love of his life, Barbara Palmquist. They raised Gloria who provided beloved grandchildren who affectionately referred to him as Poppa. Bill loved spending time with family and friends, laughing and making others laugh, music, the outdoors, gaming and reading. Bill lived his life to the fullest and was the life of the party. His life will be lovingly remembered by family and friends, through the retelling of his hilarious shenanigans at the family deer camp and parties to come. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
Surviving are parents, Herbert and Edna, children, Gloria Gatica and Amy (Wayne) Hans; grandchildren, Feather, Hunter, Christopher, Gracie, Jocie and Trinity; brothers Anthony (Roxanne) and Brian (Angela); and many special nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barbara and son-in-law Obadiah Gatica.
Cremation is being performed and a celebration of life service will be held in Michigan, details to be determined.
