William R. Moye, of New Zion, Florida passed away on Sunday, May 28, 2023, in Sebring, Florida. William was born on October 27, 1945, to W.C. Moye and Gloria Russell (Marlow). He has been in Hardee County most of his life, is Baptist by faith, and a self-employed carpenter by trade. William graduated from Hardee High School and the University of Florida. William proudly served our Country in the National Guard. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a big asset in caring for his parents. William is preceded in death by both of his parents. He is survived by his step-mother Janice Bennett of New Zion, FL., his daughter Kim Moye of Arcadia, FL., his sons James Dye of Albuquerque, NM., and Charles Moye of Tampa, FL.; his brothers Ronnie Moye of New Zion, FL., Mark Moye of New Zion, FL., and Bruce Roberts of Ft. Green, FL.; his sister Jana Krell of Ft. Green, FL.; 5 grandchildren Zach Dye, Alexander Dye, Cameron Moye, Avery Moye, Axel Moye. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Horse Creek Camp, Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 10 AM to 1 PM.
