Wilma L. McClellan, 96, of Zolfo Springs, passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Rest Haven. She was born in DeSoto County on May 7, 1920 and had been a resident of Hardee County most of her life. She was Methodist and loved to work outdoors. She helped raise and nurture many of her great-grandchildren. Wilma had been a school bus driver and a nurse. She also farmed and did ranch work.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas McClellan, five brothers, three sisters, a daughter, Marjorie Geneva Luke, and a son, Dallas Larry McClellan. She is survived by three grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, January 30, 2017 at Friendship Chapel in Zolfo Springs at 11:00 A.M. Visitation is from 10:00 A.M. until service time. Skipper Calder is officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery.
