Zula Mae Tubbs of Wauchula,Florida died September 27, 2012 at her home at the age of 88. She was a resident of Wauchula since 1998, having moved here from Escondido, CA. She was a christian and had been employed as an elderly caregiver.
She is preceded in death by her father, Jesse Lee; mother, Molly Strickland; her husband, Raul Tubbs of California ; a son, Jerry Tubbs of California; 2 daughters,Joann Hailey of California, and Susan Tanous of California; brothers, Lacey Lee of Florida and Logan Lee of Florida; and a sister, Jessie Lee of Wauchula, Florida.
She is survived by a son, Gary Tubbs and wife Louanne of California;a daughter, Debbie Moore of Wauchula; and a sister Inez Foy of Florida.She also leaves behind 15 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren
Services will be held at The Robarts Funeral Home Chapel on Sunday Sept. 30,2012 at 4:30 PM.
